A very Merry Christmas!

We were merry and cheerful at this year’s Christmas party at the Bernauer Kurhaus. We had every reason to celebrate: Despite the current rather mixed economic situation in Germany, we can report a positive overall result. It is becoming more and more apparent that we are processing a raw material that is in great demand, especially in times of global climate debate. However, it’s certainly due to our customers, who are at home in a wide variety of industries, that we were able to ensure a solid capacity utilization. Many thanks for your confidence and the good cooperation!

We are very optimistic for the new year

To ensure that we are well equipped for the future and to be able to solve even the trickiest production tasks, we have again invested in new machinery this year. With the acquisition of a new 5-axis CNC machining centre, we can further increase our vertical range of manufacture and at the same time equip our employees’ workplaces with the latest technologies. With our new wood mechanic trainee, we are actively promoting the next generation of Fritz-Baur employees. Fabian Birkmann is in his 2nd year of training and has been strengthening our production since September 2019.

Thanking our employees and celebrating their anniversaries

Without our employees, their ability to perform and their flexibility, we would certainly not be where we are today. “With their wealth of experience we are now able to manufacture highly complex articles made of wood that our great-grandfather never even dreamed of,” said managing director Georg Baur, thanking his staff for their commitment. “It is a particularly great honour to thank longtime employees for their merits.”

Let’s hear it for:

Jürgen Rombach, 30 years of service.
As a trained wood technician, he has strengthened the Fritz-Baur team since 1989. Today, Jürgen Rombach is plant manager and responsible for the day-to-day business, making sure that our goods reach our customers at the right time and in the right quality.

Andre Kehr, 20 years of service.
As a long-standing and extremely reliable employee in the CNC production he is an important authority, especially when it comes to passing on knowledge and experience to younger colleagues.

Sarah Stoll, 15 years of service.
She learned the profession of wood mechanic with us and has passed through all stations of the company. For some years now she has been working with flexible working hours in the work preparation department, is responsible for the support of the furniture brand increva and supports the management with calculation.

Christoph Booz and Jörg Dannenbring, 10 years of service.
Christoph Booz plans the technical implementation of the production in the work preparation department. Jörg Dannenbring contributes with his wealth of experience to the refinement of our wood products.

With a good team and a strengthened back, we are looking optimistically into the future. We are looking forward to many new challenges in 2020 and wish you a good start into the new year!
